Summary: We use this to stream video form Netflix,Hulu etc. Everything plays perfect except Netflix HD. This is a microsoft Silverlight problem since they do not support the GPU. I have a 32 inch lcd and the regular streaming (non hd) from Netflix looks great. No complaints about this computer.
Summary: I'm using this as a diskless front end with Mythtv. Booted just fine the fist time and has worked great. Plays 1080i with no probs (VDPAU support works groovy). The one thing (and it was an oh, yah... moment) is the mount it comes with is made for the back of a monitor. Not a 42" flat screen tv...
Pros: Very small Very quiet The little remote keyboard/trackball works from across the room. I lose eyesight before I lose signal. If I could afford it, I'd buy 3 more to replace the rest of my diskless mythbuntu front ends.
Cons: 5.1 sound only available via optical spdif (not really a con, I just have to buy a spdif-> rca decoder in addition) Getting into BIOS setup menus is more luck than anything - it has insanely fast defaults, which might make sense with its intended use.
Summary: Bought specifically to Wirelessly (N) stream videos from a media server. Plug into wall, plug HDMI into TV, plug usb receiver for the controller in. DONE! At first, a standard movie (700mb) streamed fine. But used about 30% processor power. A 2-4 GB movie streamed fine, but used 60% processor power.
Summary: might grab one for a media pc for my house. its pretty cool.
Pros: i bought this thing for my mother who is completely computer illiterate and she gets excited by it! its small and virtually unseen mounted to the back of her 32" lcd tv, the wireless keyboard/trackball works well from across her huge living room. it isnt a power users pc but it handles the basics...
Cons: wireless remote is tiny, i need to get her something that her eyes (and mine for that matter) can see. its cool if you have an android with a slide out keyboard and you want something that small but its still smaller than expected. trackball is hard to get use to. my thumb sticks to it and it isn...
Summary: I bought this for my media room to be used strictly for storing my music so I could sit in my chair and use the remote to play any song "on the fly" instead of either listening to a complete cd or playing a song or two from a cd then getting up and playing another song or two from another cd.
Summary: This was purchased to go with a 40" Samsung LCD TV. I needed a machine that would allow me to access Windows Media Center (Recorded TV) content on other HTPCs in the house. It works very well for that.
Pros: Small form factor, Keyboard/Mouse wireless, Windows 7 64 bit integrates with other HTPCs
