Summary: I purchased this computer when my old PC died just days before the tax deadline. I normally build my own computer, but I was in a crunch and needed a new computer ASAP. I decided to give this Lenovo a try. I've been happy with it so far. I haven't had any problems. The hardware has been working flawlessly. My only issue is with Windows 8. I really would have preferred if I had the option to purchase the computer with Windows 7.
Summary: I replaced my old Dell computer with this one. I am very pleased with the performance and looks of this computer. The only thing that I am displeased with is the non availability of a USM drive like Lenovo's ad says and is shown in a YouTube video.
Summary: It's fast and state of the art. If I could have bought it with Windows 7 instead of the awful Windows 8 I'd have given it 5 stars. It starts up and shuts down in just a few seconds! I bought this along with a 24" ViewSonic monitor and am very pleased with everything.
Very fast - perhaps not quite as fast as advertised

Summary: This is a high-performance desktop - and my comment is a nit - the CPU is a 3.4 Ghz vs the 3.9 Ghz in the product description. It is apparently possible to tweak the bios to overclock the CPU to 3.9 Ghz - I suspect mere mortals cannot tell the difference.
Summary: very fast. especially on turbo. windows 8 is taking a little time to get use to. not enough usb ports. why all the high tech and no ports? also only one type of vga monitor imput. for the price, its ok.. bought touch screen to use with it. planar is the screen, will write review on that. did not feel like i was cheated. could be better. and whats the deal with the big expansion slot in front? guess something else to buy.
Summary: This computer is genuinely a joy to look at, if you're into that sort of thing. Very easy on the eyes. The front has a classy-looking brushed aluminium veneer and the chassis looks sexy and very reminiscent of something much more awesome than a PC like a stealth fighter jet. The light that shines from under the hood looks pretty cool too.
Summary: Very good machine, runs all games at highest spec with ease. Comes with windows 8, which is a nightmare. Hard drive rumbles and emits very dull noise which becomes annoying after a while, easily drowned out though.
Summary: Very pleased with the Ideacentre K430. Needed to contact Lenovo about lack of sound but their Help desk gave me some downloads to try and these worked. Computer very fast. Windows 8 is a bit disappointing as the simple games of Solitaire and)Freecell are no longer incorporated in this new edition of windows ( I suppose no problem to serious gamers) Generally pleased with product.
Summary: Received this PC in great timing, unfortunately i missed the first delivery by my own fault, but it was delivered the next day as promised. Fantastic machine so far, bought for the purpose of light gaming/streaming. Runs Minecraft at 500fps, and League of Legends at the highest settings at 100fps. However only had a slight problem with the machine so far, and that would the the annoying noises it makes whilst running, and they never seem to stop.
All-in-all it's a good machine let down by a few inferior components - but I still bought one!

Summary: I read Ernie's review and I suggest you do too and follow up on the discussion. I was going to build myself a small format machine in a Chieftec Mini-ITX case using a Haswell processor, but the sums just didn't add up. Here is an Intel Core i7 PC with 16GB of RAM, a 2TB HDD and a 2GB video card for less than the cost of parts even before you add in the cost of an OS. Make no mistake this is a good value machine but the penny-pinching lets it down by a full star.
