Summary: Worst new computer I have ever purchased in the last 5 years. I purchased three:, - two for customers. they were so slow out of the box on a gigabit network (30 feet max) network, they would not maintain connection to NAS stored files so kept dropping or taking 5 minutes to open records. Other computers on network were speedy. Discussion with Lenovo tech support solved nothing. I was finally able to tweak them a bit to get them minimally functioning.
Summary: I have had issues with the unit freezing, issues with the curser freezing as well. Had issues resolved with C/S, however, Windows 8 is a nightmare to use. I wish I had the option to have this desktop with Windows 7.
Summary: I've had this computer for about two months and have already had to force shut down about ten times. It freezes and becomes completely unresponsive. Task manager won't start up. I'm not gaming or doing anything else that eats up a lot of memory. It just seems that routine tasks are too much for this machine to handle. I expect more from a new desktop than this.
Summary: I purchased this machine thinking that it came with a monitor. It did not. The machine was displayed with a monitor in the Amazon advertisements. This purchase was price sensitive to me and I had to go out and purchase a monitor which made the machine not price competitive. Very disappointed. The machine works o.k., but I would not purchase windows 8 unless you are going to use a touch screen. Lenovo is an O.K. product, but I would be very suspect of any future purchase.
Summary: This is was the 3rd H520s I had purchased and I thought is would be a good computer for the $$$....only $379 for the i3 and $425 for the i5 at the time. However, the last (and final) computer gave us fits even after completely reloading All Win7 software, 64 bit. Problem solved Only after purchasing a new 1/2 size Ethernet card for another $20. I recommend only Purchasing the H520 and not this smaller H520 S model.
There is no support and no help when it is not working out of the box

Summary: The usb ports on this H520 work for up to a week before the quit. I unplug the peripheral and plug it into another port and it works for awhile then fails and I can switch it back to the first port and it works. This mostly happens with my second monitor and my keyboard. No way to contact Lenovo but Amazon was great and did step up to help. I took it to a repair shop and spent a bundle and they still fail. There are lots of good computer companies.
Summary: So far this Lenovo did boot and was loaded with a bunch of "sample" software included. Unfortunately it did not include Windows 8 Pro (It does not say it does) BUT when an upgrade was needed, the "update to Pro" on the computer was chosen, vs. direct from Microsoft or Amazon, for more than the regular price of the upgrade. If you need Pro, buy the upgrade separately!
Computer is Not ok, neither the "Included Application"
Zachary Yue, Amazon
3 June 2013
Summary: I bought this machine from Amazon partly because Nitro PDF is one of the "Included Apps". Well, not really. It asks for a serial number and I cannot find it. Called Lenovo and was told that it is a trial program, just like the pre-installed Office 2010, which, by the way, is not listed as "Included Application" on Amazon. Lenovo blames this on Amazon for incorrect advertising. Update 6/6/13 Earlier I said in title the computer was ok. It is not.
Summary: Computer had easy set up. Keyboard was nice. I had to return the product due to having trouble connecting to the internet. It would say that I am connected, but the browser wouldnt load up when I tried to go to internet explorer. I would have to disconnect the wireless connection and then reconnect to get internet access.
