Summary: Same problem as the other reviewer whose hibernate cycle led to permanent death...only mine stopped booting shortly after a year...after the warranty ended. Should have defected to Apple when I had the chance. My old Lenovo was a workhorse but the newer ones seem like junk.
Summary: This is my second Lenovo and am very happy with it. It's not a gamer machine but plays video flawlessly. It has the I5 chipset and Intel video. I dropped 1 star because they filled 3 of the 4 memory slots with 2 gig mem chips, someone shout be shot for that..why not 2 4 gig mem and 2 empty slots that I could then max out without tossing mem chips in the trash !
Summary: Retailer did not have the model I wanted, instead I received the newer upgraded model which had an i5 processor and 1 terra bite of memory instead of the i3 and 500 gig hard drive. Responsiveness of the touch screen is excellent and I purchase the windows 8 upgrade from 7 for $14.99 with no problems.
Problems with hibernate- then machine will not wake up
6 February 2013
Summary: I bought this computer in late Sept. It has a very nice display and worked as you would expect. The price was right at the time ($640). Within the first month I had problems with the computer going to Sleep mode and becoming unresponsive I either had to unplug the machine or hold the start button down for 5 seconds to reboot the computer. Frustrating yes, but the machine still worked. After approximately one month I was unable to boot the computer at all.
Summary: Researched a LOT of computers prior to order mainly to learn what is new. Fast delivery and easy setup. Slight issue getting use to a different mouse but I changed the mouse settings now things are smooth.
Summary: Prompt delivery and an awesome deal on a computer package. The resolution is great and the system although not the the most advanced technology, is a great value at $560. Lenovo has been getting some very good reviews for awhile now, so I'm very pleased with this product.
Summary: 11/29/2012: This review is for Lenovo B540, not B520. Amazon currently doesn't carry this model. But I want to keep the review here anyway. This model (B520) has Windows 7. B540 has Windows 8. A big difference. Twenty years ago switching from 14 inch monitor to 18 inch was a vast improvement in computer monitors. Then the tablet revolution came about and people began to drool over 7-inch screens. Shut the front door! No. I'm not going to tinker with tiny screens.
Summary: The Lenovo All-In-One was so easy to set up and then transfer my files from my old computer. I am a novice at computers but Lenovo was a breeze with it's WiFi. I am delighted with this purchase.
Summary: I was vaguely looking for a new desktop computer when I came across this Lenovo B520e All-In-One. The price was unbeatable (on sale on another site) and the features seemed almost too good to be true so I hit the order button. I called my uncle, who was looking for a new computer, and he ordered one also. I've had desktops, laptops, netbooks and tablets, but never an All-In-One.
Summary: Had issues with the display within a couple weeks. Customer "service" wont open a warranty claim because their rep can't figure out how to remote access my computer to check the settings. They claim 3rd party software was to blame yet when I contacted them I hadn't loaded any additional software other than Firefox on the machine. Should have bought the HP. Lenovo is Chinese for crap as far as I am concerned.
