Good Price - Good Computer - But A Couple of Issues
20 December 2012
Summary: The 2 PCs I ordered both are good computers. I've bought Lenovo products a lot (hundreds - I work in IT) and normally buy in the business line. The IdeaCentre line is the consumer line and so I expected a little less quality. The only issue I have with these is I think the image from Lenovo's factory has a bug because both computers did it - we could not run Microsoft updates out of the box.
Summary: bought this for a simple computer to run my auto shop office and it works great. no problems, runs pretty fast (i'm not gaming or watching video so i cant comment there.)it has a touch screen that i dont usually use and i surprise myself when pointing to something on the screen and it will then select something! i am happy with this purchase and have had no problems with the equipment, the keyboard is a little small for me but looks really nice on my desk.
Summary: Large touch screen. TV Inputs, lots of USB ports. Came with wireless mouse and keyboard. So far I am very happy with it. Windows 7 takes some getting used to. Overall I am very happy with my new computer!
Summary: After looking to buy a desktop PC for home, I settled on the Lenovo Ideacentre B320 and purchased it from Amazon for approx. usd 500 about 3 or 4 weeks ago. Happy with the machine based on my use so far - mostly email, browsing the web, viewing pictures and videos (stored on external hard drive) etc. Have not tried the TV functionality yet (no cable where I've kept my machine at present).
Summary: Amazon sold this originally for £599 which for 1TB HDD, i3, 8GB ram is an amazing price at this time. It also came pretty much fully featured as well, e.g. wireless keyboard/mouse bluetooth, card readers, tv tuner etc... not to mention Windows 7 and Windows Media OSs. It's a great machine for the price.
