Summary: I bought this unit about six months ago thinking it would be very, very fast. It has an Intel i-7 CPU and 16GB of DRAM. It partially replaced a two-year old HP Pavilion P6-2126S desktop with an AMD A4-3420 CPU and 12GB of DRAM. Both have 64-bit operating systems. The Lenovo is Windows 8; the HP is Windows 7. As it turns out, the HP is MUCH faster. The Lenovo dawdles drastically when opening files. It seems to take forever to open a CD/DVD in the CD drive.

Summary: The Lenovo H530 desktop is working out very well for home use, and replaces a Hp P7-1534 desktop with windows 8. The Hp's motherboard crashed twice, once under warrenty and the second time out of warrenty. This Lenovo has exceeded my expectations. I prefer Windows 7 version.

Summary: The DVD recorder/player does not work. I have called Lenovo twice now about this. The first time we got cut off. The second call they told me I would need to wait fore another office to call me back and 72 hours later still no call back. The computer seems to work ok otherwise but needing to replace the dvd player on my own and at my own expense, I doubt I will buy from them again.
