Summary: So far, so good. Nice full HD screen. I love everything about this computer, including it's reasonable price. Windows 8 takes a bit of patience, but after about a week, it's like second nature to navigate (and I'm not that great with computers). I plan to get a mouse touch pad eventually that allows you to use the computer like a touchscreen without all the messy fingerprints on your monitor. Many people seemed to recommend this option over the touchscreen.
Summary: I'm on a computer 8-10 hours a day. I was looking for a replacement for my desktop pc because it finally moved on. I was surprised at how expensive computer towers are now a days just for basic things. I was thinking I might get a chromebook instead since I am mostly doing online stuff but after reading that chromebooks don't print (easily) I decided that that was out. So what to do...enter stage right Lenovo's C540.
Windows 8 Touchscreen useless if you move away from your personal wifi

Summary: The os makes you sign in with a new outlook email. Once you move the screen, (and I bought the screen for a business presentation use,), its useless, because you need access to the web to use the computer. How stupid can a nerd programmer be? Smart in the box stupid out side of it. Moreso it does not warn you when you sing up for an outlook email. Duhhhhh?
Definitely recommend for a personal or work machine!

Summary: I create websites for a living and heavily use browsers, Dreamweaver and Photoshop. I have upgraded them ram for my purposes and am very happy with this machine. I do recommend getting a wireless keyboard and mouse if you are into aesthetics but overall a great machine.
Summary: I got this as a gift, it has been nothing but a giant pain in the rear for the last two weeks. Nothing will load, runs extremely slow, the screen goes black if you bump it. It is being returned.
