Summary: solid case, win 7 pro a plus instead of 8, Knocked one star off because of difficulty adding a serial port to motherboard. Needed HP proprietary adaptor for $40 to $75 instead of generic for $3. Used an IT company recommended USB adaptor instead and hope it doesn't flake out. It's this kind of planned gouging that makes me hate big brand PC's. I'd rather build them myself, but it wasn't my decision.
Summary: I did not buy this machine, but I considered it based on the review on a PC Magazine review (The Top 10 Best Business Desktops, by LA Ragaza, June 5, 2013). However, what was reviewed there, and what appears in the product description here are very different. In fact, the hardware (RAM, processor, video card) on this machine is *worse than what you can get elsewhere on Amazon for $100 less. Just hope I can save others time that I wasted myself by considering this.
Summary: Works well for my small business needs... however I had to upgrade from Win7 to Win8 with the install disc provided in the packaging which took several hours to complete just to get the desktop set up to start!
