Summary: solid case, win 7 pro a plus instead of 8, Knocked one star off because of difficulty adding a serial port to motherboard. Needed HP proprietary adaptor for $40 to $75 instead of generic for $3. Used an IT company recommended USB adaptor instead and hope it doesn't flake out.
Summary: I did not buy this machine, but I considered it based on the review on a PC Magazine review (The Top 10 Best Business Desktops, by LA Ragaza, June 5, 2013). However, what was reviewed there, and what appears in the product description here are very different.
Summary: I found this system on Newegg.com but it actually is shipped by RushPC. I had not heard of RushPc before so I was sorta reluctant to use them. I did some research and they appear to be in the same city as Neweggs main warehouse in California.
Pros: I have had this system for about a week. Booted up without any issues. Very quick machine.
Cons: One gripe I have with the system (albeit small) is that these systems are about a year old now and require immense amounts of Windows 7 and security updates. Summary: Works well for my small business needs... however I had to upgrade from Win7 to Win8 with the install disc provided in the packaging which took several hours to complete just to get the desktop set up to start!
