Died days out of the 3 month warranty - sitting in a box now
9 December 2012
Summary: Was super excited when I received the computer. Brand new directly from HP. Loved the speed, screen, everything. It was like the computer knew when the warranty was up. Blue screens. Lots and lots of blue screens. Then "no boot disk detected". WTF? This computer is brand new. So I go and purchase another hard drive, swap and after a few reboots I get the same error... no boot disk. Fine, it's not the hard drive, its the hard drive connection.
Summary: this computer is flawless at everything besides playing games. if you love playing steam games be prepared to be utterly disappointed this computer cant handle that much when it comes to games . Even when you play a simple game as minecraft the game would crash.
Summary: In March I ordered an HP touch enabled computor bundle package from the shopping channel. Upon set up the touch enable didn't work. Phoned Hp, and after speaking with a few techs ,whom I couldn.t understand. I finally spoke with someone, who took over my computor and tried to make it work. The touch enabled program wasn't installed, I couldn't send it back to the company. but had to ship it back to the shopping channel, where it took a month to get my money back.
Summary: I was initially excited about this product - touchscreen with dual-touch capabilities and pretty decent specs. I am a heavy user of computer - MS office type work primarily. 8 months into it, the computer slowed down considerably (changing folders, loading webpages, copy/pasting, etc. would take a lot of time. Blue screens, automatic shut-off, etc. were other symptoms).
Summary: I started having problems with this computer in the first week of light use. The pc was just used to watch movies and go on fb. After it was done being used I would always shut it down or put it to sleep. I had problems with the graphics in the 1st week. Then the next problem would be the issue with the pc going into sleep mode and waking up. I had to force shut down it a couple times.
