Summary: I am pleased with this desktop. Until this I have used laptop and tablets only. Its wireless keyboard makes it easy to kick my feet up while using it for fun and the speed and memory work great when I'm doing work.
Summary: Very nice computer, but I give it 4 stars because it is not expandable. I need a 1390 firewire now and there is no slot to install anything. USB to firewire adapters are available from several sources, but several experts I have talked to, including Geek Squad at Best Buy, tell me there's no way firewire can work through a USB port. You can, of course, upgrade memory (which I have done), but you can't add on anything except what will work through USB.
Summary: I bought this computer just before Black Friday (price went up $100 right after). Got it two days later, and was up and running that day. All files (those I wanted anyway) transferred smoothly from XP system, and wireless devices worked first time. Now - why not five stars. 1. I haven't figured out Windows 7 yet, and 2. to have the touted (at least by HP) Beats Audio, I'm not wild about the sound quality, but maybe I'll figure that out, too. Overall a good buy.
Summary: The HP Touchsmart 320-1030 is a great desktop computer. I like the all-in-one design and touch screen feature, although I have used the latter feature very little thus far. If one were to use the touch screen feature extensively, your arms could get tired after a while. HP makes another touch screen model that allows the screen to lie flat; consider this if you want to do a lot of touch screen, hand gesture work.
Summary: This is a nice computer but I thought by now HP would be making quite computers. It don't bother me that much since I usually have a radio or tv playing but if you like quite do not order this computer. It is like sitting next to a running refrigerator. One other con is the on/off switch is located on top and already 3 times I have put my hand on top to adjust the angle and turned the computer off.
Summary: The only trouble with this cp is when I installed windows 8, and it did not install back all the files that was on windows 7. It also stop a lot of touchsmart files to work.I have windstream router and the windstream communications windows just blinks and I don't have time to update there. Other than this I would not advise to update to windows 8 on this 320-1030.
Summary: So when I bought this, I go it for around 500 (+taxes) which was a really great deal. The computer is fast, nice sized screen, built in camera, good enough video card, love that it just has one cord (the power cord) and the mouse and keyboard that comes with it are wireless and don't require any sort of USB to connect it to the computer, the connector is built in to the computer somewhere. Also, the beats audio is nice. Good sound!
Summary: I bought this computer based on the positive reviews, my frustration with dell, and the great price. This thing performs beautifully for my needs. The beats audio is great and surprisingly the sound coming out of the integrated speakers is very good. The resolution of the monitor isn't outstanding or anything but doesn't really have to be in this price point, having said that I am pleased with he performance.
