Summary: I agree with the previous post about the quick setup and no freezing as of now. I won't know if there is any freezing until christmas all I did was set it up for a Christmas present and surfed the web for a while to check for freezing. May have just been a bad computer. I know my wife will love it so I'm happy with the purchase.
Summary: We just got this today after ordering it from the "lightening deal" for Black Friday. While it looks really nice and sleek, we can't help but be disapointed and are trying to figure out the next steps on fixing/returning it. It has already frozen more than 5 times since setting it up 2 hours ago. It's sad when the old computer we are trying to replace it with is more dependable (especially considering we have done nothing more than go on facebook!
Summary: This HP TouchSmart desktop is a very nice computer. It is an ALL IN ONE so there is not a bulky tower you have to worry about. The screen is a nice size 20 inches. You always have the option to use the touch screen, you can have the keyboard pull up on the screen and use the touch screen keyboard, which is handy. But honestly I do not use that very often. You can view your photos or documents on your screen and when you touch the screen you can move it, zoom, whatever.
Summary: It is a good looking computer and I love the size. The screen is large so you don't have to sit right on top of it. The one thing I didn't know is that it doesn't work with my HP printer! My all in one HP Officejet Pro 8500 wireless is only 2 years old and I paid $400 it. I can print from it but I can't scan from the computer. I just bought a new HP officejet Pro 8500A Plus but I have not set it up yet.
Summary: Love it! Beautiful large screen, wireless keyboard and mouse. This is a replacement for a 6-yr old Dell and I love getting rid of the separate speakers, floor unit and all the cables. Its fast and easy to use. Have not used much of the "touch screen" capability yet. Windows 7 Home Premium so far seems pretty easy to get used to. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the dinky CD/DVD read/write unit that pops out on the side when you push the button.
Summary: This computer is terrific in the kitchen. The screen is responsive and fun to use, and the HP TouchSmart software is also really fun. (There was a lot of "cool!" as we were figuring it out.) The recipe component of the TouchSmart app in particular seems really good, and the netflix app is well-designed and fun to use.
