Summary: Pros: Slim, good value, not very loud unless put to maximum use. Cons: Integrated Graphics, Most slimline models come with the expansion bay at the bottom, Slow processor unless overclocked. The pc has almost no space for expansion, and gets very hot at times. Other: I didnt buy it from here but I know that this model is bad because I purchased it in addition to another slimline pc.
Summary: I purchased this PC in late April and a week ago it would not boot. After doing some diagnostics the report said there were no Windows OS files on the hard drive. I was able to copy my files onto a thumb drive. I called HP and they sent me a new hard drive 2nd Day FedEx. I read on HPs support site owners blog that many of the Seagate hard drives were/are defective. Of course, the replacement hard drive is a Seagate too.
Summary: NO FIREWIRE PORT. IMPOSSIBLE TO ADD A FIREWIRE PORT WITHOUT LOSING WIFI. IMPOSSIBLE TO ADD A FIREWIRE PORT EVEN WITH ETHERNET CABLE? (in my case a very long ethernet cable which I now have to buy) I require a firewire port to upload video from a videocam. HD video editing/capture may require a Firewire harddrive. So buying this computer was very bad for me. No way to add a new video card for HD video production work. No way to add a second monitor.
Summary: I've had this for over a week now. This review is basically an initial review based on a short ownership. The unit was shipped on a Monday, and I got it on Wednesday. Very quick shipment time. I got it at 4 pm, and had it up and running 45 minutes later. Very easy setup. This computer is just what I expected. I read all the reviews and watched videos of the computer line on Youtube. It replaces another hp computer that was 11 years old.
Summary: I'm a college student, and this is the first desktop I ever bought. That was nerve-wrecking enough, and I was even more nervous with it being an online purchase. But I do not regret one bit of it. The price is incredibly low for a computer that functions this well. Today exactly one week since it got delivered to my house. I've used it every day since then, and it works perfectly. The size is so compact, it fit in my little desk. It goes so fast.
Summary: I love this PC. I was coming off a very unpleasant experience with Dell when I bought it and it has never let me down. The one and only time I called support I was very pleased. The tech was easy to understand and very patient with this old lady! This computer has fulfilled all my needs and I really love the size.
Summary: Was purchased as a home entertainment center for TV, DVD player and *light* (non-3d) gaming. Haven't fully tested, but have done enough to know it will work fine for that purpose. Only dual core but fast cores, which is perfectly fine for a media player that isn't running multiple apps. Disabled junk apps via uninstall or Spybot - Search and Destroy, installed Media Player Classic 64bit instead.
Summary: As the previous poster said, this box is not expandable. For Tech Support you will talk to India - what else is new. If you do your research you will find some specsifications that say this has two pci-express slots. And does. And they will say in has 802.11 N wireless "built-in" and it does. What they won't say is one PCI-Express slot is blocked by the power supply and the other slot is used by the wireless card.
Small and quiet - and surprisingly fast for normal use!

Summary: Purchased this PC for light use, 95% just email, calendar, and web browsing. The main goal was something small that would be unobtrusive on a desk. The intended user didn't want a laptop, and we already had a nice big monitor to use with it. After looking at all the small form factor desktops available, this seemed like the best value.
