Summary: This computer died when it was less than two years old. I bought it, put it in one place and never moved it. Hard drive died. I have a Dell that is still going at 10 years with no repairs necessary. Very disappointed.

Summary: Bought this unit in 2013 - The HDD crashed completely last month and its not usable now. I am shopping for HDD + Windows now. HP Does it again. I thought this was a better unit - it was good as long as it lasted. I had an HP laptop that crashed too. I guess I am done with HP now.

I bought this for under $330, and it was an absolute steal. The A8 7600 is a very capable processor, and act...
Cons: OK, there were a few things I didn't like with this refurb, but nothing that would dissuade me from buying again. Summary: I'm giving it five stars to compensate for some two star reviews, if not for those I'd probably give it four. It's a good machine for what it is, a prebuilt value system from a major manufacturer.
Pros: Great "bang for the buck" system. A8 is pretty fast. Integrated R7 video is pretty fast for light gaming. Works well with Windows 10 technical preview. Does have a 2.5" bay for an SSD.
Cons: Build quality isn't great. Limited expandability. Should have 2 sticks of RAM. A lot of work to "downgrade" to Windows 7.
