Summary: It's a nice computer, much faster than the 5 year old computer it's replacing but it doesn't have as many ports as I would like. The keyboard and mouse use 2 of the USB ports since this computer doesn't have PS2 connections. So you only have 4 USB ports available, 2 on the back and 2 on the front. It also does not have a parallel printer port or serial port like my old computer and it does not have a modem either.
Summary: The good: bang for the buck and A quality machine. Runs quietly. Very little fuss for setup. Plug it in, power it on, and you are going within 15 minutes. The bad: Intial setup has trial software offers. I advise removing all trial software and loading your own copies. The software is usually found cheaper in store. Also, for anyone looking to install a higher end video card, you will need to upgrade the power supply. The stock supply is only 300w.
Summary: This is a very nice unit.Takes getting used to,still discovering alot of things it does.Had an old pc so this takes getting used to.It is a good pc.I do enjoy it.We now have 2 HP pc's & would buy them again. They are certainly worth it.
Summary: I bought the HP Pavilion P6310F Desktop PC on sale and am thrilled with its speed and storage; I have used it for several weeks now and have had no problems. I don't run games on it; just web browsing, email, writing and excel, Netflix movies, music, and photos.
Summary: This desktop is much better than I ever expected. Windows 7 is okay. I like Vista better. The computer is lightning fast. I love all the memory it has. I made sure to uninstall Norton ASAP. Avast through CNET.com is the same and free.
Summary: We had an old Dell that could not keep up with today's technology and was looking for a replacement. Even though set up was a liitle different from a Dell, it was simple and fast. We were up and browsing in no time. We use this hard drive to down load movie and music and it is very user friendly.
