Excerpt: I purchased this computer as a replacement for a Dell Studio Desktop that was running Windows 7 Homr Premium upgraded from Windows Vista. After spending an excessive amount of time removing the bloatware with its trackers, trojans and torrent of unwanted web sites the HP appears to be an excellent computer for one who is not a power user.
Excerpt: I bought this a few days ago to replace a glitch prone HP computer. I quickly found out that it could not run high graphic intense games. As I had a high end video card in the computer I was replacing I knew I would be installing it into the new one. Popping it open to change the video card, which is very easy, I discovered that the new HP had a power supply rated too low for the graphic card and my old power supply, that was powerful enough, would not fit into the case.
Excerpt: I bought this HP Desktop on sale. It does not have the great bells and whistles for gaming or other applications that required great computering power. However, this computer will do a fine job for you at everything else.
Summary: Good machine overall, the only problem i had was a major system crash..... I rebooted it and update the software and now she runs smooth. I was a bit iffy at first. But it is a good product for the price.
Excerpt: We purchased this computer for my grandparents to replace their old Dell tower. Out of the box my grandpa was impressed with the sleek lines and ease of access to the disc drive and USB ports. Upon starting it up it was a very quick personalization process and he was off and running doing all the things he loves to do with his personal computer. I would recommend this tower for those not interested in Windows 8 and lived the user friendly ability of XP.
