  • Summary: I would like to say that I love this but I can't because on the different format. Windows 8 is like nothing I have ever seen. Things happen that should not happen. But after time I am sure that things will get better.

good secondary computer

R. A. Mojica "navchrstn", Amazon
27 April 2013
  • Summary: The computer is a good back up computer. It's very nice looking, and does have the old Windows start-up window application. The new Windows 8 doesn't have one, but HP provided an app for the start-up window. It's not the fastest computer, but it gets the job done. I've had for 2 months now. We'll see how it goes over time.

Software

JP, Amazon
11 April 2013
  • Summary: I would have liked it better if it had Windows 7 on it instead of Windows 8. Some of the software that it comes with has to be activated with a activation number that you do not receive with computer. That's why I gave it only 3 Stars.

  • Summary: The HP Pavillion desk top computer is excelent- easy to set up, reliable and a great processor Windows 8 is NOT user friendly, it is confusing to learn, and VERY time consuming to try to understand. The program "START 8" for Windows 8 makes life a lot easier.

  • Summary: For the most part I can only say this is a good computer. I read the reviews and thought I was getting a very fast computer at a bargain price. I feel I got a good computer at a fair/average price. I bought this to replace a dell I bought back in 2002. It had 1/4 of the memory and 1/10th of the hard drive space and I honestly feel this computer is only a little faster at processing information whether on the internet with cable or on desktop apps.

It's A Great Low End Computer

Alphonsel "bla bla", Amazon
26 March 2013
  • Summary: I bought this for my teenage son. His computer finally died, so after a week or so of research, this what I ended up buying. PROS: *It has an integrated, but reasonably powered video card. He loves to play WOW, and his last computer had a dedicated video card. So I worried a bit he would not enjoy this. But on medium settings, this game works great for him. He is quite happy, so am I, life is good. *The AMD quad core processor works good enough.
