Summary: I bought this new desktop in 2012, front two USB port and SD, MS and xD slot not working, was using the back side all the time till my friend found ( 23 Aug 14 ) out the wires not connected internally,
Summary: I purchased this unit from a local retailer, but am an old AMAZON customer; hence am adding this review. The motherboard supports only 8gb of ram - which is sufficient, but buyers should be aware. There is only one hard drive bay in the box yet the motherboard has 6 SATA slots.
Summary: the P6-2120 has worked well for most of the time. We DID add an AGP to get a DVI output for my Samsung 60". We sent the unit back for warrenty work after 3 months because the on-board clock module gained about 2hrs per day.
Summary: After using it for 4 months it developed a software issue. The computer failed to print. I download the printer software from HP and each time it told me that the printer is not connected. So I called the hp support and they diagnosed that the problem is the software.
Summary: Given the lack of reviews on this PC, I thought maybe somebody else could benefit from my experience. At first glance the hardware looks sound: a quad core 3.2ghz, 8gb RAM machine with a terabyte HDD.
Summary: put at least 2 core processor in, barely used all the RAM, so couldn't make use of all 8 Gigs of RAM
Pros: Great computer, everything runs nice, ran the processor to its max in less then an hour of testing it. It ran Black Ops 2 at low, skyrim at full HD settings, and others as well.
Cons: Single Core processor only let me do one thing at once, could have gotten much better PC for this price. I mean more cores and better video. Not too happy about that, if i could exchange that would we nice
Summary: This thing is running, for now. It has been a month and it has frozen up twice. Multi tasking? Naah! It is loud, but the audio play back only works after I fight with Windows 8, which is awful! Video streaming? No. Old files are lost, which is not (name withheld's) fault.
