Pros: very light weight... its like a laptop in a full size case
Cons: same issue as Mary... worked fine for the first day, second day, it would not wake from sleep and I received the boot error too. Even while running, it just locked up for no reason... perhaps it's an issue the HDD? Or... maybe Mary sent hers back and now I have it :P
Summary: I'm thinking that when this machine was refurbished, it needed a bit more attention and still has some bugs in it.
Pros: It looks good and was easy to set up
Cons: Sometimes it boots up. Other times is gives an error message "Error - No boot disk has been detected..." Sometimes it just restarts at random or locks up and becomes totally unresponsive. My diagnosis... Narcolepsy... (Come on. That was funny... I have to laugh to avoid beating my head on the desk)
Summary: I found out 'AFTER' buying this that the Manufacturer's Warranty had ran out before I had even purchased it. I received no reply from seller or HP as to why this happened. Also, this does not contain the 8gb which is stated to contain.
Excerpt: Returning mine after three days of frustration, HP support will not support if you upgrade period. Microsoft was very helpful, but the unit has been a disaster from the beginning. Warning if you havve any Windows 8 files, seven can't read them.
Summary: I thought I had gotten a great product. It worked great with photos, speed was good. I just bought from Amazon an external hard drive to back up my photos. Upon transfering photos to new external drive, the computer's internal hard drive failed.
Summary: I never got to use the computer. After I received the computer, I installed Office 2010 after which the computer crashed. I have even tried to restore it to factory original, but the computer didn't come with a backup CD to restore it to factory original.
