Summary: I was overdue for an upgrade and glad I chose the HP Pavilion Elite h9-1150. Stylish and powerful! Love the fact it has numerous USB ports (several in the front, some on top, and some in the back). Also, the front accepts media cards with convenience and hides behind a slider when not in use.
Summary: The HD is only 5400rpm so eventually I will change it out for a faster HD.
Pros: Middle of the pack Video card Plays Skyrim on Ultra out the box with no hiccups, Guild Wars 2 on High with mid to high 50fps. 2GB HD means tons of storage space. Liquid cooled processor and LED fan make for cool lighting effects. Quiet running.
Cons: The Beats audio head phone jack on the top of the tower wasn't working at first, it would register that something was plugged in but no sound. Went to the HP drivers page and updated the audio driver and vwalah! Spooked me out that I'd have to send it back but just needed a driver fix.
Summary: I'm not going to write a highly technical review; it's too late at night, others have already done a fine job in that department, and you can view the complete specs on HP's website. I will say that I am very happy with my purchase, and I offer my recommendation without hesitation.
Summary: This was an excellent purchase. The machine has been as solid as a rock and performed as would be expected. No real pros and cons except to say that this machine should be high on your list if your looking.
Summary: This system is. What can I say. Amazing. Now we all know HP isn't exactly a gaming computer only company. But I must give them props on this computer, its sleek design is light and really cool looking with the interior red lighting. The processor and Graphics card is great too!
