HP Pavilion Elite m9600t Review

13 May 2009
  • Conclusion: You’ll encounter plenty of Core i7 computers from boutique manufacturers such as Alienware, CyberPower and others that are sexier and more powerful than HP’s Pavilion Elite m9600t.

  • Cons: Ugly; slow gaming performance; memory slots blocked by the drive bays; limited opportunity for expansion

Expert Review

2 April 2009
  • Excerpt: If you associate mediocrity with "middle of the road," then Hewlett-Packard’s midrange, midtower m9600t will surprise you. Though not the fastest gamer in its genre, it’s packed with enough extras to please.
  • Pros: Major expandability and connectivity options, 64-bit Vista, Core i7 processor
  • Cons: Hard drive is "only" 750GB, Poor cable routing
