  • Excerpt: This $979 Blu-ray-capable PC is well-equipped for everyday tasks and older games. It's a good six-core, midrange machine, but other PCs at this price do perform better.
  • Pros: Blu-ray player/DVD±RW combo drive, Decent upgrade potential, Wi-Fi included
  • Cons: Mixed performance versus similarly priced PCs, Graphics card not great for 3D gaming, Lots of bloatware, subsidized links
