Poor product and terrible cusomer service

Summary: I have been building my own computers since 1998. I had never purchased an HP computer before, and only chose to do so because of the relatively high level of performance I could get for the price as compared to purchasing components with similar specs. This turned out to be a huge mistake. The unit I purchased (a Pavillion Elite model: not one of the low-cost models) worked fine for the first 90 days or so.
Summary: I was in the market for a new computer and did alot of research, this computer has met everything and more of expectations. I was first looking for a big hard drive and at the time of purchase 1TB was top of the line, 8GB of memory is outstanding, I-7 Processor outstanding, windows 7, great video graphics card, i've had no problems with this computer.
Summary: This model (270F) has already been discontinued by HP, you can check it out on their page and others pages such as B&H Photo. Too bad it's still on sale here at such expensive price. It's a pity this is discontinued since it comes with a better processor (i7 930) than the newer model (AMD X6).
Summary: I have been using this computer for a few months now and it is amazing. I run a very straining program called revit architecture and it hasn't failed on me yet. That being said it is not the best computer for gaming. With the stockgraphics card I played the new game Starcraft 2. After about 20 minutes on full resolution the computer started to fail. I was forced to reduce settings to the minimum settings so it could run properly.
Summary: This product had a good price on Amazon when I bought it! Seems to have everything in it that you need. I've had no problems with it so far. Someone in the warehouse placed an HP 250 in the box instead of the 270 that I ordered. Amazon took care of the problem very quickly. I'm very satisfied with their response.
Summary: I usually don't leave feedback on things I've purchased, but wanted to share my thoughts on this HP machine. I read the nightmares that one user had, and that several other jumped on. I have to say that my experience so far has been quite the opposite. I've been running Dell machines in my business for the last 4 years, and they have worked quite well. No issues to speak of.
