Summary: Had some issues when I'd first received the product due to fact that I didn't realize it didn't actually still have Windows Vista OS on it instead of Windows 7. Was also a little disappointed that it still had all of previous or last user's data and files on it and was not clean and ready to be set...
Summary: I have this exact model but didn't buy it from Amazon. Vista works fine, I haven't had any lockups. After installing some Earthlink software it now gives me a message that it has blocked some programs at startup.
Summary: I am absolutely loving this computer. It is super fast, looks great, has a ton of memory, great features, nice cd/dvd drive, intel core 2 and most of all, Vista. Vista is amazing and I havent had one problem with it. I'm shocked how much you get for this great affordable price.
Summary: I bought this computer in August of 2007 at Circuit City (sad to see them go out of business, but I guess it helps online vendors). At the time, Vista was relatively new and there was still a lot of complaints about how atrocious Vista was.
Summary: Perhaps I misread the advert. The mechanics of this computer seem to work just fine. I had understood that Microsoft Office was on the computer. It was, but only student version and as a trial.

Summary: This has never happened to me before. From the day I bought it brand new, it stated it couldn't back up my D drive due to low space. Why in the world HP put a computer out on the market like this.
Summary: Value seems to be the common thread in many of the reviews-and I agree. This hp is an excellent choice for the general user--and with some simple mods just about anyone else except very demanding gamers who will need a much beefier system.
