  • Summary: Having problems with speed of computer have had all our lines tested and still having a slow response . Our old computers were twice as fast as these don't understand what the issue is, we had a computer specialist come out and check them but he is at a loss for understanding also. Kind of disappointed with them {2}.

  • Summary: Three weeks after receiving our computer, the hard drive failed. I do have to say that HP support was really good and they overnighted me a new hard drive with a set of recovery disks, and it was an easy fix to swop out the hard drives and I was back up and running very quickly. Hopefully the new drive lasts a long time, other than that, so far I am very happy with it.

  • Summary: Unit arrived with visable damage to the carton as it was dropped. Clerk told me I could bring it back if it's damaged. Noted minor damage to cabinet, but seems functional. Windows is missing Media Player, but has an aftermarket DVD player. I am working to get MP and will have to return the unit if unsuccessful. So far Microsoft has run me in loops to no avail (sending me to a location to get it, and then telling me that it is built-in so- no ability to download it).

Be Very Careful

RaquelSantiago, Staples
12 June 2014
  • Excerpt: While this system appears to be high end, you need to be very careful due to windows 8.1. I spent 12 hours troubleshooting problems with it and another 12 hours online with HP Tech support until we discovered a conflict with the Operating system and the motherboard. Good news is that Staples is shipping me out a replacement overnight and if i have the same issue as i did with the firt one its being totally returned for a different system.

  • Excerpt: I am not a fan of the tablet style system loaded on the computer. This computer is not really worker friendly. Seems to be geared more for play than for someone trying to do any work with it.

  • Summary: I replaced my 8 year old top shelf other brand PC with this one, very happy. Everything is working great after about 10 minutes of setup. Glad to be able to get a Windows 7 PC yet.

I hate Windows 7

e1p0k1, Hewlett-Packard
8 May 2014
  • Summary: I am trying to decide if I should bury the computer in the back yard or continue putting up with all the ads and continue trying to get the software set to my satisfaction. As it stands today, this computer is in control and I have very little I can do about it. To say the least, it is not user friendly!

Spare parts booouncing all aroound?

Eric S. Evans, Amazon
25 April 2014
  • Summary: Box rattled before I opened it. I thought "another dud". Opened the box and looked through the vent holes. Took off side of box and found the hard drive loose without any cables attached. Since I've had plenty of practice changing parts out of these boxes I reconnected two cables and VOILA! it works. Someone between Goodyear, Arizona and Las Vegas must have body slammed this box before it got here. What the H... is going on with Amazon anyway?
