  • Summary: Needed to upgrade from my Dell 223 (8 years old or more) and we found this one. Includes newer quieter keyboard, which is similar but better than my old one. I was tired of the clicking noises. Also came with mouse. The old one was fine but might as well use the new one - all made by HP to go together. Very happy with purchase. Just need to reload my Office and Word - I'm not sure about the included WordPad software - it has been fine so far, and it may be all I need.

Great Computer for a Student

hooksfan, Hewlett-Packard

  • Summary: This HP Desktop is a replacement for our son's Dell Desktop that decided to die. The 1TB Hard drive is more than enough space for a student computer. Set-up was a breeze and the price couldn't be beat. The Premium Wireless-N LAN Card had no issues picking up our wi-fi and I like the fact that I don't have to have a USB port tied up to get our wi-fi. Love that this desktop has Windows 7 installed, because I really dislike Windows 8.

  • Summary: I was happy to find this computer available at Walmart at a very reasonable price. While it will not run all of my programs that were installed on my old HP that ran the XP operating system, it is far better than going to a Windows 8 machine. I am not a gamer so any fancy hardware of interest to such users is of no interest to me. This is a basic machine with excellent processor speed and memory. It also is suitable for attaching various devices with plenty of USB ports.
