HP Omni 220-1080qd

13 December 2011
  • Summary: For an all-in-one, the HP Omni 220-1080qd is better than expected, featuring a Core i7 processor, a Blu-ray player and two USB 3.0 ports. In game-like performance, it didn’t outrun the Apple iMac 21.5, but for the rest of the tasks the two did just the same.

  • Conclusion: The HP Omni 220-1080qd may look like an unassuming all-in-one PC, but underneath hood it has a powerful quad-core processor and discrete chip to boot.
  • Pros: Powerful Core i7 processor. Big 1TB hard drive. USB 3.0 onboard. Blu-ray player. Integrated Wi-Fi. Wired keyboard and mouse included. Beats Audio provides great depth in sound.
  • Cons: Bloatware. No HDMI-in or -out port. Discrete graphics can't play high-end games.
