Summary: Shipped quickly. Computer worked fine. Was not a Dual Core processor which was a big disappointment. I bought a dual core processor and it worked great for a couple of days until lightning hit our house and now it does not start. Can't blame the supplier for that though.
Excerpt: Pros; Win 7 Premium and Office 2010, small but fast Seagate Barracuda HD, easy setup, space to add another pair of DDR2 PC6400 to 2GB supplied, gigabit Ethernet, VGA and DVI, can add low profile USB3 PCI express, with care not to overload small power supplyCons: optical drive read only DVD, no...
Summary: There is conflicting information in the item description. The CPU is, in fact, the Sempron 3400+, which is a SINGLE core. The title lists the correct CPU, but the description lists that it is dual-core. If you are wanting a dual core machine, steer clear of this one.
Pros: Powers on, boots to Win7, did not have SATA cables plugged in wrong. Case was clean and in good shape.
Pros: Great price. Like getting a 'free' computed for the price of Windows 7 Home 32 bit.
Cons: The DVD player did not work when received. The SATA cable was in the wrong connector on the mother board, an easy fix. However, this does indicate the systems are not thoroughly checked out before Newegg ships.
Summary: I bought this for a disabled Vietnam Veteran to thank him for his service to our country, you'd think Newegg would at least replace the defective keyboard for him but they refuse because he threw out the big box everything came in..... as he had no where to store it.
Pros: The desktop PC Athlon works fine, so far.
Cons: Keyboard did not work out of the box, this was purchased for a disabled Vietnam Veteran and Newegg will not exchange it for one that works, very disappointing...the big box it came in was thrown out so Newegg said they would do nothing to remedy this for him even after I offered to return it in a...
Summary: There are additional regular screws under the front panel, bring one with you to the hardware store, and get some twice as long plus a handful of washers.
Pros: Letting people know since the last review I sourced some vibration dampers. They are simply longer screws, which have some rubber on them, and what could be called a washer. If you need them, simply buy 1/4" long 10-24 screws and a few washers to install a drive under the power supply.
