Summary: I bought this computer with all the upgrades, bells and whistles. It is a great machine, except for the speakers. Even with the beats audio...music sounds like it is coming form a $15 clock radio.
Summary: Bought the Envy Touch Recline just recently and customized it a bit for better performance and memory. Overall it's a great computer and quick to set up. Just plug in an play. The only thing missing for me is it doesn't have a CD/DVD drive, so I had to purchase an external drive to download some programs I have on CDs. Windows 8.1 isn't bad at all. Takes a bit getting used to, but you can customize your apps and you can view your desktop.
Summary: I purchased a Surface 2 Tablet to get me feet wet with Windows 8.1. Superb operating system for touch based computing. Immediately decided to upgrade my office equipment to touch. After research I went with the ENVY Recline and absolutely love the sleek design, performance and recline features. Standing while I work is saving my back. My one suggestion to HP would be to enlarge the touch based keyboard so you can type at top end.
Summary: I love my new HP ENVY Recline 23-k100xt TouchSmart All-in-One Desktop PC! The computer boots up quickly. I'm not an expert in computers, but I found this computer easy to use. I love the free apps and games that came with the PC. The touch feature is also nice, especially when I don't feel like turning on the lights to type. The only thing I don't like about it, is that I am unable to listen or watch my CDs and DVDs on the computer.
