Summary: I'm not real technology oriented, and loath changing over from systems I've managed to learn to use, but I like this computer so far...still haven't gotten the hang of "swiping" --but I can manage w/o the keyboard, mouse, and tower to save all the space!
Summary: This HP 20 touchscreen all-in-one is definitely a good buy for the price, as long as you're able to correct the screen freezing issue. I had to perform two full diagnostic test and I did one download from HP. Depending on the time of day you call HP tech support, this will determine how helpful the tech can be. To this day I'm still not sure which problem solving out of the three I used corrected the screen freezing issue.
Summary: This computer is great. It is fast, clear picture, comfortable keyboard, wireless mouse, etc... A couple of comments on things I read/thought before I decided to buy this one; Touch-screen is nice but it is not really worth $200+ more. I use the computer for work and this feature did not increase my productivity. I thought about buying a 23-inch but 20 is really enough for what I do. I read several reviews about the computer shutting down by itself...
Summary: To all the Windows 8 fearful, I say don't worry. The learning curve is not that steep and the new OS is actually pretty slick. I personally find it more intuitive than my wife's Mac. Now don't bring out the pitchforks Apple folks, it's just one man's opinion but it is a solid one. Love the touch screen but you can certainly do just as well with keyboard and mouse if that makes you more comfortable. Good performance for a bargain price.
