  • Summary: This computer crashed just a few hours after windows was installed. It could not even be booted or repaired by a certified computer tech. It was returned. I do not recomend it to anyone. It wss a waist of time and money.

Careful, make sure it comes with an operating system

  • Summary: I bought this and to my surprise no operating system was included. For $139 you can find refurbished HP boxes that have an operating system and some of the reviews here indicate that they had an operating system. Windows 7 will set you back $100, just a heads up. $139 WITHOUT win7 is not such a good deal. Plus, after using for a couple of days this thing has an annoyingly loud proc or case fan that's constantly running.

  • Summary: Well just like the title I tried several times to activate with the sticker product key and no good. Called Joy co who did the refurbishing several times and they never answered the phone. So I called Microsoft and they checked out the key and said it had been used too many times on other machines and was locked out from being used. They said I could purchase a good one for $120! So I called Walmart and they graciously sent me the info and labels to return this.

  • Summary: We have had some tecnical support from Joy Systems. We keep getting a blue screen. They have helped on once. We are trying to get help again to see if we can get this machine to work properly. My husband spent the whole last week working on uploading all of our programs and documents, etc. and we are still trying to get it to work right. If we can get this machine working properly within the allowed time limit, then I can change the rating.

  • Summary: As a refurbished tower with Windows 7, I figured it would be operation ready. We received the unit and set it up. From the get go we had issues. Did some research and figured out that the drivers hadn't been updated. They were still XP drivers. I would buy this unit again, however I feel it was misrepresentedza.
