Summary: This is my 2nd refurbished. First one a Dell 2nd one this Hp. Both same computer 4 mem terra harddrive. Why pay two or three times more for a new one? These were both. Windows 7 which I prefer over 8. Actually preferred XP over all of the versions. I did get a refurb one once with a bad DVD drive.
I give this Windows 7 computer a 5-star rating because I am really happy with it

Summary: This refurbished computer works nearly flawlessly. The only problem I have with it is that I cannot get the USB to Serial cable converter to work. I am a geocacher and need to transfer coords from computer to GPS receivers. However, I also have a Vista computer and am using it to do my geocaching.
Summary: The item arrived as expected and on time. Came with a older version of the windows 7 os that required over 160 updates to be installed. Has a hard drive error and keeps shutting itself off. Did not come with a back up disk. For the price, it could have been worse.

Summary: Don't buy this with the intention of beefing it up using spare parts unless you like messing with security screws and anti-tamper gadgets
Pros: Works well and arrived with the exact specs as described, even including a DVD burner despite the description saying it has a DVD-ROM. Windows 7 is preinstalled, there are only a few setup questions to go before you're up and running. The installation is very minimal and does not include the usua...
Cons: Included keyboard and mouse are a bit cheesy. There are a few dings and scratches on the exterior, but the interior is spotless.... Speaking of the interior... this thing had the side panel held on by security screws, (Torx screws with a center pin) with some kind of anti-tamper device installed!...
Summary: Sent the wrong computer, I got an HP8000 Elite instead of the dc7900....with the same processor, same RAM, but twice as big and 80GIG less HD space. It has the Win7Pro which is what I bought it for, however, and I will be adding a much larger HD which fits in this one easily - I can use both HDs so...
