Pros: Fast enough to stream 1080 videos, comes with a licensed Win 7 refurbished disk. Older video card but still usable and supports dual VGA (no hdmi or dvi, maybe with an adapter). Room for 2nd hard drive and expansion cards, if needed.
Cons: Smallish 80GB hard drive ,mine was not a 10,000 rpm as someone stated. Didnt really matter I had an extra 1TB drive I put in.
Excerpt: I was attracted to the name and price of the unit. HP knows how to build them. The extra devices included in the tower are really a nice feature. I had to wait a long time to get delivery, and the tech that released the unit to me told me the warrantee was only for 90 days and not the standard one year as expected were the only down elements of this purchase. The unit is very quiet and Windows 7 is not wasted at all.
Summary: The WD Raptor is very noisy - so much so I replaced it with a WD Scorpio Blue just to quiet it down. I don't think it was damaged as reviews from this drive around that time period state it is just a loud drive.
Pros: Core 2 Duo and Win7. Includes Refurb Win7 disk with 32bit and 64bit versions which is very nice. Windows took the activation key no program.
Cons: The DVD sata connector on the drive itself was broken.
