Summary: My second CQ5720F is excellent. This one came with a nice suprise though, it had a 750GB drive instead of the advertised 640GB like my first CQ5720F. Completely unexpected by me: I expected to swap out the 640GB for a 1GB drive upon receiving it, but did not have to -- 750GB will last me for years!
Summary: This computer came as advertised. This Compaq desktop has been a great computer for my wife and kids. They use it for Facebook, Disney Games, Youtube, and emailing friends and family. I would order again. Shipped fast!
Summary: Love the machine! Easy setup etc. Great price. Quick delivery! The keyboard is not my favorite. The keyboard and mouse came with it. I could not use my old keyboard due to the different plug. However, my old pc and keyboard were about 10 years old.
Summary: I just bought this computer and must admit this is the first time I am using Windows 7. I am getting a bit frustrated as I am having a lot of difficulty carrying out some of the basic functions that were so easy with my previous computers. For example: When I insert the flash drive, and open a file that was created on another computer using Microsoft Word, it displays somewhat garbled information.
Summary: I have owned this model for about a year now and it is still going strong. I have upgraded the power supply and installed an ATI video card. With those 2 items it works great as a gaming pc. It is a pretty quiet machine as well. I have no complaints about it as of now.

Summary: I am not a professional so I will say what I have found running this for the last week. My Windows7 w/3GB ram @ 2.90GHz, is slower than my XP w/2GB ram @2.93GHz. Opening programs take just a little bit longer is seems. I have closed (not opened during boot-up) programs to see if I could eliminate this, but so far nada. I like the size of the HDD and that it has another slot for a slave drive.
Summary: Bought a CQ5720F in January 12, 2011. On February 1, 2011, It stopped working. 2 1/2 hours on the phone with HP tech, to find that after some tests, the hard drive is bad. Spent 1 1/2 hours the next day for further tests to confirm last nights tests. Now they are sending me a new hard drive, and installation disks. I have to do the installation myself. Not good for a $400 computer. I will never buy HP again.
