Summary: I did not want a Windows 8 computer because of all the bad press about it; did not to learn this operating system. This computer was a perfect solution. It worked great right of the box! The thing I like the best about it is the company who refurbished the computer did not load it down with all the junk software and advertisements. It was a super clean Windows 7 installation with no clutter.
Summary: I've been using an old computer with Windows XP, and after the support was cancelled by Microsoft, I figured it was time to upgrade to something more reliable. And I wanted to buy a computer with a large Harddrive and also one which worked with Windows 7, as I wasn't too fond of Windows 8 and 8.1, when I tested them. I also didn't want to spend too much for a computer for home use, as I use it mostly for emailing and downloading a few things off of the internet.
Summary: At first would say NO WAY - bad choice. BUT after some calls and a representatives help got my windows approved. Before was saying not registered and unlawful copy and etc. BUT she helped me get the correct numbers put in and all is well now. Was easy as far as matching cords to hook up. I was very pleased to be able to set it up without having to get help from the younger generation.
Summary: The DVD driive failed after opening for a short time only. After 150 to 200 windows updates, the computer wass jnable to opedn any program and had an error message requiruing the insertion of a operating system disc that I did niot have.
