Pros: Perfect. I gave it to friend as a gift. Device does not take up much room.
Cons: Only problem is AT&T has corrupted the OS, in an attempt to reset his email account, and he has no way of getting back into any applications. Need to reload OS but he does not have the disk since none came with it.
Summary: Unless you have the time and maybe looking to build off of something like this then do not waste your time!! Also, I was unable to get a refund "NE" would not consider refunding me for the purchase even though I have owned it for less than the 30days warranted.
Pros: It runs MS Windows 7 Professional
Cons: I would NOT recommend this desktop. When I received it, neither of the disk drives worked. That was one issue. The second was I had to do a system restore on it the second day I owned it. After finally being able to get to the desktop the lag time was ridiculous, this is after I installed 3gbs more of RAM. I have already contacted the company that refurbished the equipment and I am sending it back for hopefully a better replacement (fingers crossed!!).
Summary: Definitely shouldn't be used for gaming. There's little to improve on with the current hardware you get if you purchase it. Like I stated earlier, will use it for business and everyday use.
Pros: Bought this for my uncle who needed a computer for his business. Worked just fine when booted up for the first time. Was able to get the Win 7 pro. authenticated. Processor handles pretty decent but I feel gets countered with low 1 GB ram. But other than that, it handles ok. When i purchased it, the specs said 40GB for the HDD but, when i received it, it had 75GB so thats good!
Cons: Like I mentioned earlier 1GB of ram for a desktop was normal like 10 years ago, definitely not now. I looked up the specs on HP and opened it inside, there are 3 slots and it can handle a max of 3 GB of ram (DDR2) which I am doing and consider.
