Summary: Bought refurbished because I needed Windows 7 especially so I could get Microsoft Office Starter 2010 because that is where I do most of my work. Guess what! Microsoft Office, ect. has been deleted from the refurbished product. Also no external sound although I can ear perfectly with headphones. Will probably have to buy speakers. No great expense but come on people! I can live with a few glitches but to say I'm disappointed is an understatement.
Summary: Been a consultant for the past 10 years so I work at home from time to time. Needed to replace my piece of junk at home to do work. Bought this and was pleasantly surprised as it works better than expected. Very good price for a computer that does everything I need it to do.
Summary: At first would say NO WAY - bad choice. BUT after some calls and a representatives help got my windows approved. Before was saying not registered and unlawful copy and etc. BUT he helped me get the correct numbers put in and all is well now. Was easy as far as matching cords to hook up. I was very pleased to be able to set it up without having to get help from the younger generation.
Summary: I'm a huge environmentalist so I always support refurbs. I know however that I usually have to sacrifice some performance for helping mother nature but it was not the case this time. It runs as smooth as ever and I have no complaints. Everyone should not only buy this product but support refurbs from now on.
Summary: I bought this machine because I am going back to school and didn't have a computer. For the price point it was a great deal. I mostly use it for watching movies, doing work on microsoft office and browsing the internet. Pros: Quiet as a mouse Fast and efficient for everyday use Windows 7 is easy to use once you fool around for a bit Enough memory and an OK processor so I never get swamped Cons: Other than you cannot play many graphically intensive games NONE!
Excerpt: delivered ahead of schedule well packaged and complete. setup easy and appears to [work fine product 6key for windows 7 included and used to successfully activate the os appears to be good value for the money since windows 7 alone cost more than $100. usb mouse and keyboard easy to plug in and work fine although nothing fancy and qualty.
Summary: I bought this for my son who is homeschooled. It came on time nicely wrapped. It turns on and that's about all it does. I am a full time student, I work part time, my husband works full time and goes to school part time, we have 4 children, I have no time to fool with it. It has sat in my living room collecting dust because it is so slow I can't do anything on it.
Summary: Got this to replace my old XP desktop home office computer. After I spent HOURS updating Windows and adding drivers for printers, etc., I went to install software from a CD only THEN to find out the tray doesn't open. Luckily I had a portable external CD drive. After all the setting up I didn't have the heart to pack it all up and return it. But I'll never buy a refurb again from Walmart...
