Summary: Overall the product preforms very well. There are a few things to be aware of. One the DVD is NOT read/write, so to back up the computer before use, you will need a device for backing up the system. This is a very important step that you should do before using the system. Two, because it is minimal (operating system only) system, such things as adding Wireless network can be a hassle as many rely on pdf files for documentation.
Summary: i like this computer very fast just as expected. barely even a cosmetic blemish on it. as long as you don't have to have a brand spanking new one you will be satisfied. However if your expecting all the fluff and junk you usually get on a new computer outta the box you won't get it. I for one was glad it didn't have all the junk pop up when I started it the first time. but if you like to play solitare you wont find it on this one you'll have to find your own games.
Summary: Worked out of the box - and installed hi end 64 bit math apps, mail handler, browser with favorites integrated well. Only downside was a scratchy internal speaker -muted OK by the external speakers I added. Walmart's well known generous returns policy made all the difference in considering this refurb which is inevitably more risky than new. Liked the price, liked the delivery (drop ship from Tiger). I did well with this HP Compaq 6000 box and can recommend.
Summary: I bought this computer for my mom. She's a basic user and extremely happy with the speed. I forgot to research if this thing has internal wifi built in but no big deal, I bought a portable usb wireless for like 20-30 bucks. Bought her an external hd burner too for 20 bucks. All in all, happy with the purchase.
Summary: The computer was pre-loaded with adware that pre-set the home page and still had pop-ups and left overs from a previous version of Windows. I was very blessed beyond the average user that both of my sons are well advanced in setting up computers and knew how to get rid of all the added "extras" and leave me what I could use.
Summary: seems to be a very good machine. no problems with anything so far. would be better if it came with Win7 OS disk in case OS has any problems, since reinstalling with MS is not easy. Lot's of power, all features just as i desired. pricing was competitive for a refurb, but not as good as some other reputable suppliers. Delivery was fairly prompt. warranty could be better. overall very pleased.
Summary: The computer works very well except I can't install my old printer. I can't believe it's been used. brand new clean on the inside as well on the outside. New keyboard and mouse. Much faster than my old Vista. Very pleased.
Summary: It looked like a brand new computer. A lot of RAM and disk space and very fast for day-to-day applications. I'm not a gamer, so the Intel E8400 is good enough for me. It came with cheap, but new, keyboard and mouse that I don't use anyway. Bottom line, this is a great deal for the price.
Summary: Considering the Win7 Pro is almost $140 of it try to put together the rest for another $50! Runs great - fast on boot - a small HD but it isn't my main computer and if you do a NAS box you'll not run out of space!
