Gateway SX2851-41

CNET
19 April 2014
  • Summary: Gateway knows how to market a compelling budget slim tower, and the SX2851-41 is no exception. We're wary of buying any new PC right now with an Intel chip refresh on the way, but if you need an affordable desktop for work or living-room duty, this system is a solid pick.
  • Cons: New look marred by Intel and Microsoft badges on front of the case; hard to recommend a desktop with Intel's older chips.

Gateway SX2851-41 – Slim tower PC for your living room.

etechreviews.net
8 July 2011
  • Excerpt: Gateway SX2851-41 is a fast performer and I was pretty impressed by its speed. It is as good as the predecessor, SX2850-03 and it makes good sense because they both have the same CPU, same amount of memory and the motherboard too is the same. There are some deviations in performance but that can be attributed to the firmware and variability in testing. I would recommend you the Gateway SX2851-41 if you are looking for a slim tower for use in your living room.
