Summary: The computer was great quality and I've had absolutely no problems with it. The only challenge was learning Windows 8, but that has nothing to do with the product itself. As soon as I downloaded the Start button and menu to look and function like Windows 7 it's been fantastic. Thank you for such a great product!
Summary: It reverts all updates on reboots. I could not install games. It froze up several times. I called Gateway. They said that they don't support that problem. They told me to call Microsoft. Microsoft L2 tech remoted into my PC 5 times and could not fix. Stay away. My next computer will be a Mac.
Summary: We bought this to have a computer hooked to our TV for streaming, gaming and internet searches. It answers all of our needs and fits easily, on its side, on one a shelf in the media cabinet below our TV. Amazing capability like a larger tower. Easily networked wirelessly with our main desktop on the second floor, so we can share photos and files between the two; both have Windows 7 OS, by the way, which we prefer over Windows 8 for at home computing, over laptops.
Summary: The unit it self is good for what it has. It isn't so good for what it doesn't have. Processor speed is good. Moves about the web much faster and doesn't want to freeze up like my previous tower. Which had Windows XP on it. But it is pretty much bear bones when it comes to any other software. Haven't decided if I am going to keep if for that reason. Would be much better if it had Microsoft Office loaded on it.
Summary: Gateway/Acer has the worse product support of any PC company. Have an ACER latop and this Gateway PC fails under warranty and then have them find a way not to honor their warranty (in the case of SX2370 it fails within 4 months) and then have them tell me I have to pay shipping and for repairs (again under warranty) is very @#%$%^&.
