The Gateway DX4200-11 is a 64-bit Genuine Windows Vista® Home Premium SP1, AMD Phenom™ X-4 9550 64-bit Quad-Core, 6 GB RAM, 750 GB 7200 RPM SATA hard drive desktop with a 15-in-1 media card reader. It has an 8-channel high definition Dolby Home Theater® sound system, 10/100/1000 Ethernet connectivity, 6 USB 2.0, 1 HDMI and 2 IEEE 1394a ports. It is also supported by ATI® Radeon™ HD 3200 Graphics with up to 256MB of Shared Video Memory and chipset with a memory expandability of up to 8 GB and has a DVD±R double-layer optical drive. The system measures 16.34" (H) x 7.09" (W) x 17.32" (D) or 415 mm (H) x 180 mm (W) x 440 mm (D and weighs 24.25 lbs. (11 kg) system unit only.

It also features a total of 6 GB of RAM memory (expandable to 8GB), 750 GB Hard Drive for music, movies, videos and more storage, a 15-in-1 Media Card Reader with Smart Copy Button that allows users to transfer video and photos from digital camera. A "smart copy" button allows users to download and file images directly. This unit comes with Norton Security Trial, a 60-day trial of Norton’s solution for antivirus, antispyware, antiphishing, website authentication and more.
