Summary: The computer is good however I am old school and miss written instructions and documentation. It was very difficult getting started. My conversations with e-machines were less than satisfactory, at one point they told me I might have a software problem and that was not covered under the warranty and I would have to pay for assistance even though the computer was brand new.
Summary: this product was delivered to the wrong house not even in a cardboard box, the lady who had gotten it could have taken it and I never would have known any better. Also, it runs like crap and I am sorry I ever bought it. It lags big time, which is pathetic for a brand new computer.
Summary: Basically, I am delighted with my new computer. The price was such that I could not resist buying. But it has a very strange oddity. Every now and then the clock gets 3 hours late. I fix it, it's OK for a while and then it happens again. Sometimes I fool myself thinking that I have extra 3 hours to read email garbage, but then I come to my senses and fix it. I've been around computers for the last 20 years. Never heard about this type of quirk.
Summary: The computer works fine now. When I got It I had problems with the boot up. So I tried to contact eMachines help desk. Still waiting for a response 2 month later...I'll try again today. No bootable or recovery disk in the box.It would be nice to have the Windows 7 OS just in case. but besides that it works great fast computer.Power saver is a great feature it looks like it s off just that green light on.
Summary: This e-machine computer is one of the best computers on the market. Talk about the price as well. Around $330 for this kind of computer which has 500GB of memory. You just cannot beat that price. You really don't need a brand name computer because this one works perfect. I have had it for about two months now and it was the greatest buy I have ever made. The computer goes fast and have had not problems with it. Windows 7 is a great upgrade from Vista and works so well.
Summary: This machine is 2 days old, and I'm checking out the software that came with it. I tried to use the MS Works Task Launcher, which requires a product key. I input the product key from the side of the case, and it tells me it's an invalid key. Check the number, put it in again, same thing. I decide to send an email to emachines support. On the web browser (IE) that came with the machine, there's a link to emachine support. I send a report, using the form on that link.
Summary: This is a great PC, especially for the price. It comes packaged with Windows 7 Home Premium, the best OS next to the Mac OS in my opinion. Runs smoothly. System comes with a 452 GB hard disk, and 3 gigs of ram, and NVIDIA GeForce 7050 graphics card, making it capable of some games if you're into all that. I only use it for browsing the internet, and as a media center, and so far, it has worked great. Everything is fast and runs perfect.
Summary: i recently bought this computer, after having a very old emachines computer from 2004, and its a really great computer. it is 10 TIMES FASTER THAN I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE!!!!! i saw that it only had an intel celeron and thought that it wouldnt go great with fsx, but this is by far the best computer. i can finally play in ultra high graphics. I HIGHLY recommend this computer.
