Summary: Its a bit slow but after all is just a computer for the house, the only dislike is that it lacks a led for the hard disk drive usage so you don't really know whats happening, i downloaded a software thas has a blue and red light in the task bar that indicates the disk usage
Summary: I bought this because I needed something that could both handle my daily usage and that came with windows 7. As advertised this little computer has done extremely well. No problems to speak of thus far. The only downside that I saw was that the keyboard it comes with is not a full key board. It does not have the number pad. Luckily for me I had one lying around... Also If you have the need for more USB ports than 4 you may run into some issues.
Summary: I own a slightly different version of this Nettop; the ER1401-57. The only differences are a slightly larger disk (250GB) and dual core processor (which is why I bought the 1401 over the 1402). I bought this little box to to add full PC functionality to a New LED 32" Sony Flat panel (using full HD HDMI output) I put in my Kitchen.
Summary: I bought one of these about a month ago. Hooked it up to the plasma big screen and a webcam as a media PC. Plan to use it for internet video viewing, skype-ing, gaming etc. Great picture. The HDMI output port was a key feature I looked for. Easy to set up and get going - just plug it in and turn it on. I hooked the keyboard and mouse to a 16 ft long active USB extension cord so I can put them across the room on the coffee table.
Do you want a Entertainment Computer Than look at this

Summary: I've looked at the available Computers and for the price and Size this was the one I was looking for. It was able to connect to my TV easily and it has wireless/LAN as well. The size was perfect. I tried a laptop for a while and I did not like fumbling with the lid or trying to get the computer to come up on the TV. With this it was automatic. It has a pleasing design and again small This 1.7 GHz Processor is comparable to ones you would find in a Net Book.
Summary: I bought this computer with the expectation that it wasn't top of the line and that it would meet my minimum needs for watching streaming video and word processing. It has met all expectations. I love the fact that it comes with Windows 7 and that it is small and under 2 pounds! A word to the wise... it does not come with wireless keyboard or mouse. Nor does it come with a DVD drive. But it handles what I need it to handle well and the video I watch is clear and smooth.
Summary: The computer can handle any normal operations we have thrown at it so far. Surfing, watching hulu, and other network shows it handles with ease. Open office seems to have no delays with normal spreadsheet and word processing. My only complaint is that the keyboard and mouse are a bit lacking. The picture seems to imply that it has a wireless keyboard and mouse like many other similar models but it does not (my fault for not reading the description in detail).
Summary: I jsut recieved this today and I have to say I am quite suprised that the machine performs so well for the price. It's been a purchase so far that I would highly recommend which I don't do that often for emachines. It's relatively quick very small and only had a minmum amount of bloatware. I can't wait to see how it will perform wth an upgrade to 4gb of ram.
