ER1402-55

Dr. George E. Goldman, Amazon
3 February 2011
  • Summary: Nice size and does have good power and performance...but the lack of a disc drive is somewhat of a hindrance. Does most of what we need it for

Good value

William Madonna, Amazon
19 January 2011
  • Summary: Not something you want for your "main PC" - but to hook to a TV and watch NetFlix or videos it works fine. Not high end super fast - but gives great value for the money you pay. I like it because it is small and fits nicely on my entertainment center.

Great Value for the Money

tca118, Amazon
4 December 2010
  • Summary: Several reviewers commented about the lack of an internal CD/DVD or s wireless keyboard & mouse on a $300 PC. Is this a realistic expectation? I found the PC to be a good value. Th unit is essentially the equivalent of an Acer Revo R3610 (Acer owns E-Machines & Gateway).

nice system, but.........

me, Amazon
11 November 2010
  • Summary: Pretty good piece of hardware but loaded with bloatware. One really big shortcoming. You cannot change the hardware configuration at all. Comes with 2GB memory but the spec says it supports 4GB, so what happens when you try to add memory???

No wireless keyboard or Mouse!

Bev, Amazon
31 October 2010
  • Summary: I've had this machine only a few hours. but was caught off guard by the corded keyboard and mouse that arrived with it. My advise is to look closely at what is included in the purchase... Also, as a multimedia machine, I've not been blown away with the downloading TV shows aspect..

Fatal flaw......Microsoft

Morley Brown "Consumer Advocate", Amazon
1 October 2010
  • Summary: Update. After someone's comments about the machine, viruses and Microsoft. Tough to actually split the device and the software. Yes, it's a nicely designed, small PC. Great. Several USB and an HDMI port. Great. Go job eMachine.
