Summary: Setup was very easy. I plugged everything in including the LAN cable to the DSL modem. When I powered up the computer Windows 7 asked what type network I was on (Home Network). It came up and got on the internet just like that. Then I setup the Mail servers in 'Window Live' so it could send/Rec Email.
Summary: This computer has worked very good for me. It has been much faster than the other dells my family has, and you can't beat the price. I thought that it would be a sub-par computer because of the price, but it acually works very well. It crashed once, but it was my fault, and the online support was really helpful, and after about an hour it was working again.
Summary: Pricewise, this computer is at the low end of the prices that can be found on new desktop computers. I use my computer a lot, and I've had this one in use for a few weeks. So far this e-machine has done everything I have wanted from it, and it's done everything well. There are many desktop computers on the market which cost much, much more. They may do things that I'm not aware can be done. But, this one is fine for me.
Summary: My wife needed a new computer and to get away from Windows XP. We have had an eMachine before and never any problems with it. My wife doesn't need the new Intel iCore machines for what she does. She normally has up to 10 websites up at a time and with AOL running too. And this machines handles it without a stutter. Some people would think that with this brand and price you wouldn't get much power, but fear not.
