Summary: Slight problem when it arrived. The audio was making a vibrating sound that was driving me crazy. I had a feeling it was a screw that was stuck to the magnet. I called Dell support and they sent a tech over. It was a screw. Upon further investigation, I found a couple of people on YouTube who had the exact same problem. Must be a design flaw. The tech fixed it in minutes. Overall the computer is fantastic and highly recommended.
Summary: Screen is beautiful. Windows 8.1 is pretty good, especially the multitasking works very well. I've been a mac user for a while and after the second iMac broke after 3 years I decided to give something else a shot. So far so good. I've found similar windows programs for all the Mac programs I've been using. Search and Video playback I actually think is better on this computer. The equivalent. iMac would have been close to $2,500 with no warranty .
Summary: Bought this as a replacement for an old Sony Vaio 20" all in one. Windows 8 takes some getting used to - still working on that but after a few days a lot of the initial frustration has gone! The other issues with it are when you connect older devices that worked great on windows vista - the drivers frequently will not work on windows so some hunting around is required..
Summary: Very nice all-in-one for all your office work needs either at home or at work. Do not expect equally nice gaming. If gaming is what you are looking for then buy the one with dedicated graphics chip. Built-in Intel graphics 4000 isn't up to it, however, it is quite adequate for office apps. Would be nice to have Windows 7 rather than Windows 8 installed, but I am not going to start another debate on that.
Summary: First, I would rate this machine 4.5 stars, not 4 stars. I received this machine in a very timely manner, and it was very easy to set up and get started.I have been playing around with Windows 8 since the 1st or 2nd developers release, and while this is a review of the machine, for the most part, the OS is integral to the experience with the machine. I have NO issues with the machine.
Summary: I have been a Dell customer since 1998. I was thinking of buying the new Imac but happened to walk into a Microsoft store and had the chance to tryout the XPS One 27. I bought the XPS One 27 last week and it was great for the first 7 days. The screen resolution is unbelievable and the touch capability with the articulating stand is awesome. I thought the touch screen would be "gimicky" but I actually use it quite a bit.
Summary: This computer has worked great right out of the box! I have had a good experience so far. I have installed better (free) security software, though. Mu only issue is sometimes web browsers hang briefly but that is likely a software, not hardware, issue. Beautiful screen. Ease of use is fantastic! Very happy!
