Summary: When this arrived, I took it out of the box and couldn't get the operating system to work. I contacted Dell who couldn't do a thing. The company that sold it to me talked me through getting it going and it's been wonderful ever since.
Fast and reasonably priced a big bang for the bucks!

Summary: This is a very good and reasonably priced computer and it has enough memory and hard drive space to do most tasks fast the hard drive is especially nice size and should be able to use it for a long time.
Summary: Arrived on time. Packaged not so good and it was wobbly. FedEx seemed to have banged the box and exterior was dirty. Set up was no problem. Started up perfect.Runs very quiet, except sometime I hear slight slight "SHHH" sound in random. One problem is, Cannot register with dell, and it says product already registered. But not in my name, so I will have to call dell for that. Keyboard is excellent. Just the right amount of tense on keys. Very responsive. Mouse is average.
Summary: Great Computer, can't go wrong with a Dell. I bought this because I needed a powerful PC for video editing. Most laptops with these kind of specs are pretty expensive. If you're looking for a good PC and don't mind having it be a Tower and not a laptop then go for this one! I got it refurbished for around $600, Great DEal!
What a difference this makes with the computing experience.

Summary: Fastest computer we have, and grandkids love using it to play games and do their homework. This came with MS Office so I did not have to purchase that as an option, just put in the code. Do not think there are any dislikes. This unit replaces two(2) much older models.
Summary: I have nothing but good things to say about this desktop computer. Having upgraded from a relatively (at the time of purchase) state-of-the-art custom machine using Windows XP I found this Dell XPS X8500 to be like night and day in comparison. The larger capacity Hard drive and "instant on" boot up made me feel a lot better about turning on the machine when "getting the job done now" was/is an issue.
Summary: Bought the 8500 and i love it so far! Its a beast. As for windows 8 im not sure why people arent loving it so much because i am enjoying it very much. I figured it out in like an hour and in case you don't learn well on your own there is an app on "start" page to get you started. Keep calm and be happy. I recommend this desktop for anyone using heavy programs.
Summary: No problems so far. Does what it's supposed to. Only complaint I have is the DVD drives are noisy when they're running. And makes the computer tower vibrate somewhat. Otherwise, a pretty good computer for the money, especially if you can get a good deal on Amazon Warehouse deals.
