Dell has recently introduced a new range of small business PCs it calls Vostro. It claims they cost less than other Dell PC ranges, while having very similar specifications. The Vostro 200 describes the Midi tower case in which the PC is built, rather than a specific configuration. As is normal with Dell machines, you pick the options you want on the company's website and get a PC built to your own requirements. Read more

Dell will soon begin selling a step-up Vostro model that may sport a more sophisticated case. For now, however, Dell's OptiPlex line offers better hardware and much of the same services as the Dell Vostro 200, and PCs in that line don't cost much more. There is not a lot to say about the Vostro 200 except that this is an entry level PC for basic use. If you surf the web, type documents and send email but not too much more or your old machine died and you need a replacement and have a tight budget, then this may be the PC for you.
