Excerpt: I used this laptop for about 6 years while I was completing my master's degree. I found it to be a very capable notebook, able to handle just about anything I put it through. Pros: fast processor and reliable. Not much I can say here except that it works as a laptop should. Cons: It's not built the best.
Excerpt: This is great very fast one of my all time favorite laptops! Its one of the older inspiron modles but also not nearly the oldest. It runs just like the newer laptops out there. It has really good graphics for its age and i would and have recommended it to everyone I know.
Excerpt: This is absolutely my all time favorite laptop! Its one of the older inspiron modles but also not nearly the oldest. It runs just like the newer laptops out there. It has awesome graphics for its age and i would and have recommended it to everyone I know. I personally own 3. Bought each one for 84-160 dollars which if you ask me is a steal compared to the overpriced ones that run nearly the same!
Excerpt: After owning the Dell Studio XPS 8100 Desktop for about 5 months, the system starting indiscriminately but regularly stalling and freezing - to the point where it was not usable at all. Then I found a TON of complaints online about the XPS having this issue, usually the laptop model. Dell has agreed to replace the hard drive as it's still under warranty, but really this many complaints about a particular model - bad business!
One of the fastest computers that I have ever used

Excerpt: The Dell Studio XPS 8100 desktop computer is the fastest computer that I have ever used. I installed a lot of applications on this computer, and the computer did not slow down at all. I love that the RAM can be upgraded up to 16 GB. You can choose from either an Intel Core i5 processor, or an Intel Core i7 processor. The video card that comes with the computer, an ATI 4350, delivers excellent quality.
Excerpt: I have owned many different brands, and kind of took my cue with the Dell from my parents. They are now on their second Dell, and no problems. I too am now on my second Dell. The first I will admit was kind of rocky in the beginning but worked out all the kinks under their warranty. I have never regretted purchasing either one.
Excerpt: I have been using computers for a number of years. After having one that crashed almost monthly, I bought a Dell on my father-in-law's recommendation. I couldn't have been happier as that Dell lasted for 8 years without crashing and is still going strong with only routine, expected fixes. So when it came time to get something more up-to-date, I immediately went to dell.com.
Excerpt: I bought this computer in April and I am very satisfied with this computer. This computer has the latest core processor and the newest technology. I optimized the computer with the best options for me like the GTX 260 to play games, a bit of memory and processing speed to get me through the daily tasks and my desktop publishing. This computer has many options to choose from Dell and lots of ports in the back to connect to.

Excerpt: Bought the XPS 8100 core7 a couple months ago. Everything I was looking for over my old Dell I've had for 9 years. RIP Windows XP. Looks like the case may be a little hard to open, but I'll have to deal with that when the time comes. Very satisifed with this purchase.
