Dell Studio Hybrid Review

8 September 2014
  • Summary: As meisters who recognize the versatility of a home theater PC, we find the Studio Hybrid to be a compelling desktop. Its small size and color options makes it very easy to coordinate in any home or office. It also performs well in its most basic configuration, but you can beef it up all the way to an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.6GHz powerhouse with Blu-Ray, 3GB of memory, and 320GB of storage.

Silent PC
8 December 2008
  • Summary: The Dell Studio Hybrid is a disappointment. On the one hand, it's one of the most visually attractive consumer propositions Dell has ever created. The look and style of the SH is undeniably cool. But that isn't quite enough to compensate for its relatively lackluster performance or its annoying acoustics, not at the asking price of our sample.

Tiny and funky

Good Gear Guide.au
8 June 2009
  • Summary: The Hybrid represents a new wave of small PCs that are actually small yet functional and quite affordable. If you're after a small PC, we think the Hybrid is the one to go for.
  • Pros: Small size, good performance, plenty of connectivity features, DVD burner
  • Cons: The eject button for the DVD burner didn't always work — apart from that, we think it's great!

Dell Studio Hybrid

6 August 2008
  • Summary: If you consider all of the options in the price range, the Dell Studio Hybrid is not very compelling. However, if you limit yourself to the very specific niche of small PCs, you'll appreciate its clever design and relatively powerful hardware.
  • Pros: Flexible allows custom appearance and positioning, Best combination of looks and specifications among supersmall desktops.
  • Cons: Standard budget PCs offer better value and more upgradeability, Laptops deliver better space economy with similar specifications for the dollar

Dell Studio Hybrid: Das HTPC-Chamäleon

18 November 2009
