Summary: Product arrived on time. It appears to work fine. Plugged it in, hooked it up and booted immediately. It had a DVI out so I was happy about that. No OS or firmware disc included but wasn't really expecting that. However the computer was in a mini case and that was not described in the ad. I was hoping for the full size case. Opened up the computer and it was full of dust bunnies, so it was either refurbished a long time ago or nothing was actually done to refurbish it.
Better than you think but not the Pentium D version and get the mini tower.

Summary: Better than people think. Bought mini tower version with E6600. Sold the CPU and bought the Xeon version of the Q6600. These things never came with quads and they have passive cooling. The bios identified the CPU correctly and it's been running for months fine on passive cooling (145 watt CPU). I put a bigger PS in there an HD7770, 1TB HD, and 8GB of ram. All on Windows 7. All is working great.
Summary: My order arrived 4 days early! My computer is working great, so far. I have no reason to believe it won't continue to do so. I bought it to replace my computer that was running XP, but I didn't want to spend a lot f money. I spent 110.00 and got two times the memory and storage. Plus, a brand new copy of Windows 7. That's less than what I would have to pay for the OS alone. And...my old computer was not compatible for an upgrade.
Summary: Replaced a failing GX620 with this one. After salvaging the RAM and video card from the old one, I replaced the installed Win 7 HD with the old Win XP HD and this system booted up with no problems. Upgrading the RAM to 4GB makes this the fastest Dell I've ever operated. This is an excellent system for the price. Definitely worth it if you're replacing an older Dell. XP doesn't recognize any hardware difference. I just wish Win XP was still offered as its primary O/S.
